Lovely bit of pocket talk. Bit much to be gutted for a horse to win a BANC like.

Na, I'm gutted. My pocket has nothing to do with another 50 yards and GC gets up!

Yeah, really don’t see begrudging a win for the horse.
          Fully deserved it.
Great for a smaller outfit as well.

Yea, it's a real shame they don't make the race conditions such that all my bets win as well

You've just confirmed it to be pocket talk to be honest

Well obviously he'd would be frustrated a horse he wanted to win to win money didn't win? Pocket talk or not I don't see your point

The point is, there's no time for wimpering on here. Unless you're a real w**ker.
We'll all have hard luck stories.
This games full of - If's and buts .
                  The line is the line.
And the Real Whacker "would have found more anyway, or was idling" (No idea if true , but that's what some would have said if the roles were reversed)

Maybe they were at the course?

I think in a rematch if they were evens the pair I'd have Gerri Colombe.

                    Not a lot between them.

Gerri a bit flattered though, he made up the ground after the last well, but then when TRW 'felt him' he found a bit so there were a few strides GC didn't gain anything and that kept him ahead at the line.

Gold Cup I'd be with GC ..... although TRW one that the bookies may not price correctly at some point (hopefully). I imagine both will make my Gold Cup team at some point

                    • My one concern with Gerri for the GC is he was being pushed along early, would he get outpaced in a well run GC? No doubt he would be staying on but I wonder if he would be a better national horse than a GC.

He jumps slow so yeah he would be outpaced, you usually need the tactical pace in the GC midrace.
