Jockey has already conceded he might not be able to dictate from the front which brings in the possibility of not settling. It’s gonna need a hell of a ride to get everything right imo …anything less than that he may be vulnerable and I don’t think that’s reflected in his price yet. When he drifts to 7 or higher on the exchange I might cover. More likely I will wait a hurdle or two and play in running. Nothing at all to be gained by playing now imo.

You know me Kev - I’m never one to hide away if im on one big - win, lose or draw. As i always say, you can’t take it with you when you’re dead. So you might as well spend it. (That sounded abit Brent didn’t it).

The money was bound to come, so much confidence behind IEP. I love him for this.

I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking somebody with such good information about Willies horses would be treasured on here so don’t feel you need to hide your light under a bushel in future.
Joe Chambers the racing manager this morning has done a piece on Nick Luck podcast and chats about the ground dependency a bit, might interest a few.

He also throws a curve ball if goes really soft Supreme could be an option...but unlikely!

Yeah, didn't scream confidence to me, listening to him.

Yeh you can see with his action he needs come cut , as I say in the aftermath there last year they though the going right (being beaten) was ground related or atleast was really exagerating it , same worries going into this year but hopefully we get plenty of rain this week.

I take it they have no worries about him seeing the trip out, especially if it did become really soft, given he's been solely campaigned at 2m, and hasn't gone a yard beyond 2m 1/2f?

The see him as a 3m soft ground chaser next season so doesn't sound like they have any. I think the dropping to 2 on really soft ground this year would be the stamina seen as his advantage but I don't think it'll happen anyway.

I'll be having a few quid on for the RSA when they price up.

Thanks for this, was going to ask if they planned going Chasing or staying over hurdles next season, much appreciated

                            • I do find it odd that Gaelic Warrior has barely had a mention on any preview night and IEP has had huge confidence behind him, yet no real drift on the exchange. I would be expecting him to be double figures with how little has been said tbh
