Yeah that's fine, personally think it 'being better than the Supreme' doesn't mean it's a cracker in terms of quality.
No superstars in it like some years (pre hindsight), so it looks competitive (which is great)
For me, it looks an open race.... so nothing wrong with looking at bigger prices this far out.... and you don't know how it may cut up.
No point me staying up telling everyone what fancy prices I have already is there either, all about looking for horses that could shorten and highlight them.... which I think Ho My Lord is ....
But, I've also just backed Attacca at 40/1 nrnbog and he does have no chance
He and Persian Time are two of our best Novice Hurdlers, therefore it’s a shame they have to take each other on, but we have nowhere else to go so this is what we’re doing and Attacca has been very progressive all the way through. He was very good at Cheltenham over two miles when he made all but that was only because we know he wants two and a half so this trip will obviously suit and the ground should be ideal. He’s in the Ballymore but it’s highly unlikely he’ll go there and we’ll probably look at the EBF Final at Sandown and maybe Aintree depending on how he fares here.
Not sure if you’ve read hendo’s blog for tomorrow but that’s what he said
Can quite easily see both of those unplaced. Actually a race where I'll end up making some what of a book, as I've got them onside early but can't have either of them anymore.
Can see Gaelic drifting out as well, when it becomes apparent IEP is Mullins first string. General 4/1 at the moment is a horrendous price imo.

I’m not convinced about HA but I must say I’m intrigued to know what he’s done since you backed him that now means you can’t have him (can’t have him anymore suggests you could at one point and something has now changed). Obviously it can’t be price as you’ve already backed him.

I've probably gone a bit strong there and it didn't really even make sense reading it back, as why would I want them in the book at all if I literally couldn't have them. I'm just saying my preference now is IEP, Good Land and Champ Kiely. At the expense of Gaelic Warrior and HA.
HA hasn't run this year so it's hard to say he's done anything wrong as such. I've just come round to the (usual) thinking that the Irish challenge is stronger here, and he's likely to come up against a speedier / more classy type. Also the NTD runner in the Nathaniel Lacy providing some formline between the English and Irish runners reads pretty badly, maybe too badly to be true.

Got it …makes total sense now. HA is one horse that I keep fluctuating on. I do think he’s very good. I think he is going to be a stayer in time and is very stoutly bred, particularly on the dam side . At some point I will cover him but I’m anticipating him drifting at some point particularly if it it isn’t soft ground. I wish I had good prices like you have as it’s annoying me.
Gaelic Cert haha I'm sure you said this last year, don't do it to yourself
I did. And he was. Imagine if he hadn’t lost those 15 lengths jumping like a lunatic because he was too fresh.
It’s ok though because the 18 month journey of me and Gaelics love affair ends on March 14th with him in the winners enclosure and me spending the following day with a whopping hangover.

You don’t think Gaelic is the first string? I’d be stunned if Townsend isn’t on board. He goes off 9/4 fav.

Doubt if the trainer knows who the jockey will be on, and probably won’t know till very near the day.
Would not be at all confident on the race for most of his nov hurdlers. I think it’s a real possibility that we are in for a surprise or two. He’s got a fair few and they all look like either race to me.
