Willie says Ballymore is his preferred race for Gaelic Warrior, but Supreme remains an option.

Does Willie send both Gaelic warrior and impaire et passe here? And if so who do we think will be the stables no1?

American Mike entered over 2miles on Saturday, any chance he can come back into the fold for this?

He was sick after the last day according to Codd and you can always forgive one bad run.

All these novice hurdles seem to be looking wide open now.

There was a tweet yesterday from Tattersalls Cheltenham who looked like they were at Gordon’s yard, with a picture of American Mike saying he was firmly on course for the Ballymore. Now I tried to check if their were any quotes out there but couldn’t find anything. Maybe he just said it to them or they could have just made it up.

I guess it probably would make sense to go the Ballymore with Gordo having at least 3 in the AB and maybe more

Out of interest who would you have more in confidence being diverted 2m?

IEP looked like he could handle it but a shorter race may give GW less of an opportunity to leap right

I do think they’ll both go to the ballymore but if one was to go to the supreme I’d go with IEP. Could look at GW jumping and say he would have more chance in the ballymore. With the faster pace set in the supreme you could make the argument he’d have less chance of making up the ground after any poor jumps.

That baffles me, he won't have the speed for a 2m race, presumably it's just fine tuning for wherever he turns up in March.
I hadn't seen the Ballymore as being his firm target, I've backed him for the potato so that would be disappointing if not altogether surprising...

Gordon's interview suggests A.Mike is entered over 2M, but he'd rather it be over a different trip.

The Irish Race programme doesn't throw up regular multiple opportunities for Novices.

Its take the 2M option or leave it this week.

I think he's had to enter over 2M to get a run into A.Mike in time for building him up for Cheltenham.

It would bear no relation to the race planning for the Cheltenham meeting itself.

Unless he bolts up over 2M of course, and they need a rethink

Yep, it was the only race left for him that was not too close to the Fez. It's just to get him spot on. 2m will be too sharp and it looks a decent race so I'm not expecting him to win it . Just run well and blow up will be perfect. Do think he'll be Albert bound as the Ballymore looks a hot contest.
