At the end of the day it's a class 4 novice, he would probably work harder at home than he will have to winning this, he's been off since the tolworth, he's going to blow the cobwebs away.
The going at sandown is currently good this fills me with joy that gary moore has declared him.
If he can't win this then turn up at cheltenham 8 days later, the better for it, he isn't the horse i think he is.

Fair play. You could be right of course. But to me, it reads as a negative. It’s just too close to the festival and suggests he might have other targets.

Would you have preferred this declaration or straight to the festival?

Aye, seems more like a prep for Aintree than Cheltenham!

                  • Daryl Jacob interview in Irish Field he mentions several horses that could give him his next Festival winner. El Fabiolo and James Du Berlais both mentioned but not IEP.

He seemed resigned that the DRF would be his last leg up on EF for the foreseeable, I’d be staggered

Seriously though, a hugely disappointing jockey booking that'd be.

Jacob still seems unsure if he'll ride anyway. Which makes me think Townend gets to choose. And IEP would be the correct choice.
I still have huge confidence in him don’t worry. Albeit I do wish it was Danny Mullins rather than Paddy. Anyway.. he still wins.

                          1st - Gaelic Cert
                          2nd - Daylight
                          3rd - IEP
                          4th - Good Land

If there’s a match bet available anywhere for Hermes v Gaelic, I’d be max betting again but for that market at anything odds against.

Must admit I'm looking to get against Hermes Allen, hadn't considered the match bet options but if he;s paired with any of the big guns this could be a decent approach.
                            I'll be place laying too...

You best hope he’s not near them at the last, cos he will get home strong.
                              3 miler next year.
