Whilst I need to discuss with the other mods, I'm 99.9% sure they are nothing to do with a recently banned account.
This is not aimed at you Geegees but as a whole we need to be sure not to alienate those accounts who do bring genuine information to the forum and they are not forced to discuss or divulge where the information has come from or what relationship they have with yards etc...
I think members can build up a level of respect over a period of time and from my own experience with Run4Home I think they are genuine, though I can't speak for everyone.
I appreciate there is a balance but IMO mods should be super tough on this. This place is a treasure trove of information and if you're a relatively unknown and/or new user, you're most likely using the forum nearer cheltenham and not throughout the rest of the year. Thats fine, but, contributions should come with scrutiny, especially when an individual with that type of profile offers up 'inside information'.
As far as I'm concerned they should absolutely have to verify/justify where that information came from. This doesn't need to be public, nor does it need to be difficult. If someone makes a claim they should be able to drop a mod a WhatsApp proving how they know what they know, and thats that. If someone can't do this then the information is likely rubbish and if they're super sensitive and/or tricky then they probably shouldn't be posting the information on an Internet forum anyway.

Going back to topic, loving the vibes about IEP. I don't sense PN is overly bullish which might be lessons from the past, and GW being ridden by PM (who I have covered anyway) is clearly second string. I'm not too worried about Barry's horse either.

Yes, and while nothing is certain, the view on the forum a couple of months back was that FV and IEP were Willie's top novice hurdlers this year. The markets beginning to come to that conclusion as well, although none of us would be that surprised if IET and GW/CK bettered them on the day. A reflection of Willie's strength in depth.

To be fair and learnt this the hard way - Patrick is a much better jockey than people think judging him mainly on bumper rides his father likes to win more than anyone I know and would not put his son up if he thought it was not in best interest of horse
when bunkoffearly went to deloittes we were pleased that Paul was riding and not Patrick. Learned a lesson that day when baccardys swooped late under you guessed it to beat our horse - afterwards never saw it as a negative if Patrick was riding

Well he’s an amateur who will be riding a tricky horse, whilst a shed load of pros will be watching.
Ive not backed GW on the strength of for me being too short for his running style on this course.
But I do feel for those that have backed him.
Trainer uses plenty of pros having so many horses, so why not use one on this occasion, and on a tricky ride to boot?
Dont make sense to me anyway.

dont remember this talk when riding Sharjah
I am bias though by the ride he gave aramon to win the Galway hurdle an absolute peach just shame during Covid and couldn’t be there
Dont recall him being tricky.
Anyway you are clearly closer to all this than me .
Lets see what happens.

Hopefully I am wrong but not a profile I recognise
Told you who Patrick himself said was planned to ride and his concern for GW from his own mouth yesterday- very outlandish!
Anyway 20 comments later why it’s not worth the bother of posting much here anymore.

There will be plenty on here appreciating your contributions, probably virtually all of us.
You clearly know your stuff.
