Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • It's actually quite difficult for fast 2 mile chasers to win 3 queen mothers. Many examples of horses winning it twice including in recent memory Altior, Sprinter Sacre (though not in consecutive years) Moscow Flyer (ditto) and Master Minded. Viking Flagship another one. Wouldn't be the greatest surprise to see El Fabiolo lining up against Energumene next March. Their campaigns towards the race will probably determine who goes off favourite on the day.

As for Jonbon. The record of placed horses in an Arkle, don't usually transfer to a Champion Chase win.

With him being owned by jp and having payed all that money for him, I doubt he’ll be that hungry for a Ryanair winner will he? I think now that they’ve seen he isn’t a champion chase horse, they’ll be thinking gold cup.

            • People like to bash the Ryanair but it's fair to say the recent roll call of winners is just as impressive as any other race.

I'd put Vautour, Min, Allaho and Envoi up against any other race.

That is exactly the point though mate.

Vautour, Min, Allaho and Envoi should be in the Championship races.

A 'proper stayer' is a Gold Cup horse?

YepHendo has Shishkin for that. Neither are on my radar for next year though.

If Nicky/JP wants a shot at a Gold Cup with Jonbon, it'll have to be next year seeing as he'll be of the right age, can always revert back to a Ryanair for a spot of redemption the year after if need be.

And yes, this is pocket talk, I've got my crisp fiver down on my William Hill double odds boost from the weekend
