Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

In running really is only an option if you're watching live, otherwise you have to accept that someone is way ahead of you...
    Cheers, no point indeed then

9/4 Jonbon in the Hills enhanced eye catchers section...

It'll be an interest market this race. Jonbon obviously got the big reputation and connections himself to be fair. But El Fab has the better chase form and Mullins has a strong hand in the Supreme (as usual), so a winner there could see El Fab (and DD) backed in on the day.

Do I have a penny on Jonbon, no.
Was it a meh run, yes.
As a backer of other arkle horses, was I encouraged, yes.
Was I concerned at how well he stuck at it and still won, yes.

Nothings changed basically and status bloody quo for me

….I had two long-standing bets on Jonbon but cashed one after the race for profit. Quite happy to have done that.

Bookies are very clever. Many punters follow favs like sheep. Plenty will have already had shed loads on Bon Jovi. Making El Fab fav they know the sheep will pump into him now and naturally balance the books . Easy.

They'll both be on or around 9/4 - 5/2 after decs, if both declared.
Same with the supreme, I reckon they could go as big as 9/2 the field.

You can do it off the betfair racing tv stream and using some quick software. Have to make split second decisions like but it can be done.

Yep. Could turn out a very good Tuesday for punters. Lots of bookie offers banging about. I'll be waiting for some nice Boosted odds doubles.

I’ve read all the posts to catch up. Well done to Aaron Lad for investing time and effort on bringing in a different dimension/perspective. It didn’t seem to grab much attention but I appreciated it.

Totally disagree here, and the view of kevloaf.

The Arkle is nearly always the race you can get ‘seen up’ fairly early on antepost.

Neariy always a small field & nearly always a short odds on favourite with 10lb in hand - a potential superstar in waiting.

That is the opposite of totally disagreeing with me?

Yeah, "nearly always" is probably about 40-50% of the time.

I was actually disagreeing with the originator of his thoughts.

                              Your thoughts mirror mine, totally.

The Arkle a year out is, for me at least, the race I circle like no other to get my prices.

Jonbon this year was 18 months out. Just the way I play.
