Didn't bleed.. They're just waiting for some test results to come back.

Of course he is. Wouldn't back FV now with anyone's money though.

Definitely something up. More than they are letting on I reckon.

To be fair, his betting approach is to never bet a horse again when they have seriously disappointed no matter the reason.

He’ll hardly ever have a bet then

Be surprised if you can't trade out of 4/1 NRNB BOG

I'm not a trader though Kev.

Wouldn’t like to second guess the SPs in the supreme any year never mind this year. He has plenty of backers already(social media awash with him) and very feasible he’s the stable first string still with PT on so will be ahead of IET on the day. Not sure how short he’d go as hard for anyone to be too confident off the back of the weekend no matter how forgiving.

Bar the whacky Labaik who was the last winner to come in off a well beaten non placed effort out of curiosity?

Not sure, but Faceile Vega will be shorter than 5.0 between now and 1.30 on the day

It's a literal bet to nothing for anyone than can be arsed

The Mullins camp seem very excited over Facile Vega, Appreciate It, Energumene, and GDC, from their own comments over the last year or so. These 4, with maybe perhaps Sir Gerhard, seem to have almost godlike status, within the yard. I do suspect all will come in from strong betting support on their respective days, so would agree with Kev re FV.

Any drift in these on the day, or more likely just before the off, will be as telling.

Everyone is talking about the cut throat speed him and HD went at, but not much attention being paid to him looking a bang average jumper on the evidence thus far.
Realised I hadn’t responded to this when I seen it AV. I tend to agree with you here, his jumping is average at best imo. Sort of fiddles over them as opposed to jumping them with any fluency, seems to get in very tight more often than not.

Unless he improves in that department I wouldn’t be touching him for a Champion Hurdle and he’ll more than likely head over fences where horses tend to give them more respect.

Edit - maybe getting ahead of myself speaking of Champion Hurdles when he hasn’t won at this years festival but we know people will be looking to 2024 very shortly if not already.

Just on this, I feel like there has been a shift in 'bullishness' or even 'stubborness' around which are the best before they actually do it/prove it?

Might not have explained what I mean very well.....

Although actually thinking back, they were always nuts on Douvan and seemed adament he was the best horse they had...

I just don't seem to remember it as much, when it's clear who they think is the best at home... it always seemed to be neutral comments...

Willie reporting Facile Vega came out of Leopardstown lame and quite sore. Seems to be OK this morning however.

The thing is, the majority of horses are stiff and sore after most races. It's just because the high profile ones get asked about.
