I think the ground was a massive factor in DW's favour last year. Very soft ground doesnt seem to affect him much. If its normal spring ground Galvin will be in his element and he's simply a much better horse in my eyes.

Galvin has clearly had an issue he's been carrying this season or at least for the last two races where he's been way short of his best. They say that they've now sorted that (operation ?) but we will need to trust that's the case. I'm of the opinion they are just using this race as a prep for the GN and that they'll not want to leave his race at Cheltenham. I love him to bits but I can't see him troubling the judge this time.

Reckon prime Delta Work was as good, if not better, than prime Galvin to be honest. Being done a bit of a disservice here.
Who has more left these days is a bit of a guess to be honest. And Galvin in the younger horse, with less racing and most recently running in Grade 1s so I can see why there's a recency bias to him.
It's enough to put me off a max bet on Delta Work though

Tiger Roll beating Cause of Causes
Delta Work beating Tiger Roll
That's enough to stop me getting 'silly' with Delta Work this year.
Bad vibes.... but forms too hard to use and be dogmatic about with regards to this race, as we've not seen the 2nd and 3rd in the market even have a go.

He'd have gone very close in the gold cup if his jumping wasnt so sticky
He had a big engine

Any chance Galvin goes off favourite in this?
