Yes of course, incredibly loaded and leading question though

Fine, it's a shame for you personally that you've lost 1 point.. if I'd have read you making the case at 25/1 at the time I'm sure you'd have got me on side tbf!

For everyone else that thought the gamble was a bit crazy, at single figures, it's a shame if we aren't allowed to enjoy being right too ..... didn't mean to offend anyone

Not intended to be loaded or leading, just get it was bit odd to pick up on the word “shame”. It is a shame, even if for selfish reasons. But I do get that most of the feeling is aimed at those who backed at much shorter prices.

And for what it is worth, the most stupid thing of all of this is that I didn’t cover! That is worth a bit of abuse….

These days, you get arrested and thrown in jail if you say you're English, don't you?

          • Already on my radar for the Ryanair at 33/1, Saint Roi has been declared over 2m 4f on Thursday. His best RPR is one off Stage Star's Turners winning performance and better than Banbridge's best RPR, who is shorter for Thursday and 20/1 for the Ryanair. At 3/1 I've also backed Saint Roi to win on Thursday.

Saint Roi is 10/3 with B365 if you have them.

I think Banbridge is an good thing on Thursday.

….I’m not too far away from the course, it poured down for most of yesterday (going good to soft at 9am this morning) then we had it sunny & breezy all of this morning. The rain has moved in again now but I think the forecast is for it to pass through in the next hour or so.

Banbridge runs in the first race on the first day. Sunny with showers forecast for tomorrow.

Hope you're right here. Was very keen on him this morning but dialled it down a bit last minute.

I couldn't have Stage Star at Cheltenham mind and look how that worked out.

                      • Anyone heard much of July Flower and Jolie Couer Allen? Both in the bumper at aintree on Thursday against Seeyouinmydreams, a quick look through July flower is an AQPS G1 winner and is closely matched with Jolie on collateral form.

I've gone a bit over the top on him ante post and will probably lay some of the win part off - he's edging towards fav on exchanges.

I'd just about prefer SS at Cheltenham but I think Banbridge will have too much toe for him at Aintree.

Off the top of my head, I think July Flower won the same Grade 1 as Irish Point did before Robcour purchased him. Usually a decent race in the French calendar but I’ve not checked it out in depth yet.

Aye, 3 places this morning when I bottled it. Assume you've got the each way based on the 'win part'. Take a real shocker to be out of the 3 wouldn't it! Agree that C&D should be suited, despite his run (albeit over 3 miles) at this meeting last year. Also think missing Cheltenham can only be in his favour as well. Just need the rain to stay away. Might go back in with a JoB double with Fakir in the Marsh.

Also bottled the 6/1 on Bravesmangame when we were discussing the Bowl the other week. I've made a right mess of this

                              • I'm very much starting to think that el fabiolo apart this isn't a very strong bunch of novice chasers at all

And it wouldn't overly surprise me if el fabiolos career takes a similar path to footpads
