Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I take the opposite view. I'm not convinced he's a stayer. He wasn't doing his best work at the line at the DRF. He was being closed by the genuine stayers in behind. I think the Turners would be ideal for him. I'm not sure he's good enough to win and at 7 rising 8, I'm not sure how much improvement is to come, but that's the race I think he's best suited by. Connell has always maintained that this guy has speed too. Says he'd have been in the Supreme if it weren't for Marine Nationale.

At the rate I’ll be getting no ante post bets at 16/1 or above. And we still have Aintree and Punchestown to cause further contractions.

Promised myself this year i'd leave off handicap betting largely til the day or at worst NRNB and, Salvador Ziggy aside, I managed to behave. My next such project for self-control and finally learning lessons is the AB.

I thought he jumped and travelled quite poorly the first circuit (definitely need to watch it back though) .... I thought his chance was gone and wasn't worried about him.... was the one out the front that I needed to worry about

That said, 33/1 is a fair enough price when I think they'll end up at this distance...

Would you worry that both the defending Champion, and Ryanair master in Allaho might both be aimed here next year for CPS? Appreciate that both will be 10 and there are injury concerns re Allaho.

I could see Sir Gerhard being campaigned over 2m next year. I know he's only raced over fences twice, but my takeaway is that he's better jumping at speed, which might be suited by a QMCC. His mistakes have come when he's idling and got time to think.

Once again, depends on where C Hill goes. If the great one goes chasing them IMO Marine Nationale will be aimed at the Champion Hurdle. His Jockey has already come out and said that he'd beat Impaire Et Passe which was a random thing to say......or was it ?? He'd have to get past State Man though.

Jockey has also said Good Land was never travelling for him like he has. He said he was snuffly the day after so he may have picked something up. Don't write him off. He looks the one nailed on for chasing of the two.

If Energumene and El Fabiolo stay sound, you'd say that they would be far tougher opponents than those in the 2m4f division.

Agree. If Constitution Hill goes chasing Marine will go the Champion Hurdle. He said he would got the Arkle but only because of Constitution Hill and also said that being 5 (6 next year) and Good Land 6 (7 next year) that Good Land was more likely to go Chasing.

I wouldn't be surprised he stays over hurdles after that run in the BANC

                          • Do we think Dream to Share will go hurdling or ever take to it. He's not bred for it at all, plus it was mentioned about running in big races on the flat.

One I like for the shorter novice hurdles is Down Memory Lane

I think he’s a 2.5 mile hurdler who there won’t be a suitable race for at Cheltenham. A more successful version of Abacadbras.

Looks a Ballymore type to me. Quickened nicely in his bumper and shouldn't have a problem with the trip being by Walk In The Park out of a Presenting mare.
