This year's free bet returns from Galopin Des Champs and El Fabiolo are enough to persuade me that they are first choice for the coming season. 4/1 El Fabiolo in the QM with b365 seems generous to me given the good record of Arkle winners alongside the unique occasion of just one horse winning the race 3 times. Other than Energumene there seems to be no credible opposition this far out.

I think that I'll use the current 11/4 worst price as the borderline and then go to El Fab/GDC doubles.

The Gunner Yeats stinks of being a staying chaser and his low key campaign should ensure a decent price. I’d be worried that GW jumping issues could be exacerbated when over larger obstacles so I’d want to see him jump a fence first.
