He got put up to 141 for his becher run (cost me twice in a week skelton)
I've backed for the x country but bit worried they may want more weight, however, they have a few weeks to get another 4 or 5 lbs if they can find the right race.
If they can get a win into him next time and a rise then we might be in business from a runner point of view at least.
Then maybe let him prep like you said.
Yeah, he needs another 5lb to get in the national but he's got loads of time (7-8 weeks) to get that win.
I'm fairly sure they said they'd target cross country and races over the National fences. He's only 6, but that didn't stop Noble Yeats I suppose.
Queens Gamble - Bumper 10/1
American Mike - Ballymore 14/1
Classic Getaway - BANC 10/1
Weveallbeencaught - AB 40/1
QG. Very highly thought of and impressive twice at Cheltenham. Not Irish but I would like to think she will be in the frame if not winning.
AM. I'm not giving up on this fella. Him and Mighty Potter are the 2 best in the yard. Hopefully Gordon has sorted out AM's issues from his last run. He always runs his best in the Ballymore and not the AB.
CG. Sir Gerhard will go Turners so CG comes here. I was impressed with his debut as he jumped and stayed well.
W. I liked his debut. He's a huge horse and will have come on plenty from that. The yard have had very good horses in the past and they really like this one. I'm hoping he impresses on Saturday.
Could also put in Ballygrifincottage instead of CG.
Most Important thing with your Yankees I'd say is to pick horses who you know are fit and well with a definite target. Lose one and you lose 7 bets straight away. Lose two and you might as well not bother. Keep it simple.
A couple of reasons; Mark Howard nominated him pre-season as his horse to follow & I doubt he’d do that without insight from the Moore stable. Blood Destiny won well in Ireland today franking the form of Bo Zenth.

Good shout eggs il second that selection.
Did we decide on when the Yankee is being placed? Before or after the Christmas meetings?
It’s no secret I love Gaelic Warrior. Last year was a gutting blow seek him chinned. He’d be my nomination for the ballymore. For so many reasons, all of which are obvious.
With an eye on Mullins horses I was scouring the markets to see if there was any real value left in any of his runners, now I know this isn't a Mullins yankee but it was/is MoMs unwaivering confidence in Gaelic Warrior that led me to checking as I have recently got stuck into the horse and wondered whether 10/1 was in fact value:
Gaelic Warrior - 10/1 noises are very strong, clearly no run before his Boodles last year was an error and looked a beast on reappearance, may still have other targets so question whether 10/1 represents any sort of value but if/when Facile Vega is confirmed to be Supreme bound GWs price takes a bomb, could easily be the plunge horse and go off 9/4.
Stattler - 20/1, stable second string to GDC but hacked up in his NH Chase and will stay, small doubt whether he acts on the New Course, otherwise solid contender and 20/1 looks fair.
Blue Lord - still looks a fair price at 25/1 but up against two superior in horses in Energumene and Edwardstone so probably best left
Kemboy - archie will knowbut he has a Cross Country price of 12/1 which, if the switch were to be confirmed, would disappear quickly, a better chaser than hot fav Delta Work and this race has a habit throwing up well backed curve ball winners.

Coming round to the idea that Three Stripe Life will improve for a trip. In a wide open year for the RSA, I think he’s a very fair price seeing as to how much class he showed over hurdles. His Aintree run was excellent in my view.

Christmas Eve it will be this year btw folks. Been thinking about it last few days and I do think doing it before the Christmas racing (and the Lawlors in early January for Gaelic) might be the way to go.
Banbridge Arkle 20/1
Quite like this one for an each way Yankee. With Jonbon impressing, the race may cut up a bit. Likelihood is that it'll be Jonbon + a Mullins or two, Hollow Games/Fil Dor from Elliott and not sure just what else. Listing those out actually makes it seem like a great race!
From what I've seen so far, Banbridge would be near the top of my list as a dual course winner (echoes of PTKO), excellent jumper and strong stayer at the trip. Whether this is the time for him, I'm not sure. He's not due out at Christmas by the looks of it, but, even if others impress, bookies don't push out those lower in the market.
