….Mullins on ADV;
’Maybe it (mistake) was my fault really, I told Paul to let her go from the start and she was too exuberant at the first. I don’t think Paul will be listening to me again.’
He reckons jumping to the right was a ‘one-off’ and blamed the fact they hadn’t had her jumping this week because of frozen ground.

I know timings arent everything but I've done a side by side comparison between her race and Fakirs
From the winning line and a full circuit to run, Fakir won by around 3 1/2L carrying 9lb more than Allegorie albeit he was fully driven out and ADV came home in a canter, pretty fucking promising if you ask me against an open g1 chaser
That jumping left would be a worry with the Mares Chase in mind and I would have loved for her to have had some competition pre fez, I hope it doesn't cost her as I'm absolutely certain she has more class than Impervious.

She's reached at a few and gone to the right at a few more but you can't knock her engine, easy 150+ mare judged on the below.
First circuit ADV 9 lengths quicker which was a surprise on visuals tbh. Line to line 2nd circuit Fakir race 6.5L quicker but most of that was running to the first fence. She's been quicker from 3/2/1 out and given she's made her own running, and not really been racing she's come out far better than anticipated. I actually read twitter comments before watching the race and given the reaching at a few, right hand veers I could half understand those moaning she's been clipped but that was a very good effort. The most exciting mare chasing since Bennie for me !Last edited by Outlaw; 22 January 2023, 06:03 PM.

She's a big gangly giraffe of a mare
Seriously talented but still raw
Ability wise I think she's well clear of the other mares in this, it's just a question of whether she's streetwise enough after only 2 chase starts
Interesting Willie saying they hadn't bothered doing any schooling with her in the build up to the race
I imagine that won't be the case before cheltenham
She's beaten malinas girl twice as far as last time and beaten the 2nd much further than journey with me did despite carrying a penalty.
I think she could turn into a mare capable of running in open company grade 1s over fences
The king george would suit her imo
