Will go shorter imo. Honeysuckle will get plenty support, including your part time punters. But Marie's Rock is my idea of the winner if she shows up here and imo I think alot of shred judges will back her too.
Honeysuckle into 30's from 120's yesterday on Exchange for Churdle. They did say that on Soft over 2 1/2 it is not to her liking whereas Soft over 2 is her optimum.
She won't beat CH or likely Stateman but surely better to bow out placed in Champion than placed in Mares.

Johnny Dineen said on a preview last night that someone told him she could still run in the CH. Can't remember the exact wording but tbh I assumed it was a load of crap like you get at this time of year, but you never know.

Connections have said it. Would need extremes of going or one of top two in market to come out.
Remember, they said just before the Irish Churdle that it'll be Champion Hurdle or nothing and that she definitely wouldn't run in the Mares.
I don't think we have many people that play this way..... but would backing Honeysuckle now be a smart move with the assumption she goes off favourite?
Whilst I personally think Marie's Rock is a really solid favourite, surely the weight of 'public money' see's Honeysuckle go off fav? She's almost certain to go off 'too short' isn't she?
I'm always a bit reluctant to commit to this though, as I've never really recorded how right or wrong I get these kinds of calls. Not sure anyone does? Very interested to hear about it though if this is something anyone has experience with. Essentially backing to lay at SP

I thought about this today, and the proper money will be on the one the people think will win.
Most normal people won't bet too much on sentimentality.
The one people think will win may be Honeysuckle for some, but I think enough will think Marie, and I think it's a close call as to who will end up fav.
Maries Rock would be Fav for me and the only thing that would stop me from betting more on her is the depth of the race, especially Brandy Love.

It's not about sentimentality fully, it's about casual punters backing the 3 time festival winner.... the one ITV will be going crazy about?
Do you really think Marie's Rock will go off favourite?
I don't think I do, but also totally think she should

Kind of what I said/meant. The sentimentality (want) will go so far then it's who you think will win. And some will think Honey will but I think more will go with Marie, and others.
I think she might go off Fav yeah.
But it will be close.
And I wouldn't put money on it.

Given the amount of money that come for honey 5 minutes out before DRF and the weight of the one time punters that latch onto Honey as it’s a very familiar name then I am 99% confident she goes considerably shorter and clear fav on the day
Added Love Envoi @ 7/1. I would be fuming if I let a festival winner who loves soft ground with form figures of 111111211 go unbacked at that sort of price.

….14-1 if you have access to today’s double odds boost from Hills.
