My thoughts are she can step up at Aintree and go Stayers next year.
I think they'll come here now after thinking the Stayers for the last 2 weeks. She could win arguably the best Mares Hurdle (I'd say the 2020 one with Honeysuckle, BDD is a higher quality but this race has more depth) and she has the option of Aintree for a decent prize and an easier 3m to test the extended trip.

You get the impression it was nicky favouring the stayers and considering the mares

The owners favouring the mares and considering the stayers

That Aintree race will be hers for the taking and a flat track and decent ground

From my personal bets point of view I'm hoping to see her name here on Sunday morning

      • I wonder where that leaves Epatante. Will Nicky really run three in the Mares, or will she now head to the Champ Hurdle? I have a decent ticket on Epatante for this at 16s so I have a vested interest! I don’t think she wins the mares but it would nice for the ticket to at least play.

Would think the trainer knows best on what to do.

Its a tricky one imo, because they have to make a decision on Sunday, and Thursday ground will not be known then.
Whilst she is fine on soft, I have my doubts Hendo would go 3m first time on it.
If they knew it weren’t going to be soft, I am
pretty confident she would go stayers.

I think Epatante will be in the mares regardless.

There is little to no chance Nicky runs her vs CH, they know its a wasted bullet.

              • I think Nicky has openly said only reason she was left in the CH was incase something happened to Constituon Hill

                • I'd say all us who've been betting over the last year, want her in the Mares, but we'd sort of given up on that - as have most of the commentators in the previews. No word from Nicky though in the last 24 hours, given the potential weather effects. I haven't taken much interest in the Betfair exchange price, currently suspended while the 6 day entries are confirmed, but it looks like she has taken a little drift in the Stayers. Nicky will most likely give an update today.

I had all but given up but she has been hammered in today on the exchange again. Last matched at 5.0 after being matched at a high of 15 I think yesterday morning. You would like to think that is quite telling.

                    • I don't have MR on side for this race but I'm keen to get on. Do we think she'll be a drifter from the current 10/3 BP or not?

Will go shorter imo. Honeysuckle will get plenty support, including your part time punters. But Marie's Rock is my idea of the winner if she shows up here and imo I think alot of shred judges will back her too.

Shorter than that on the exchange now without NRNB so I'd get it mopped up if you can get on with Coral. Will defo be shorter.

If that's not decision made I'll be massively surprised.

I'm hoping it is, that's for sure.

Yea surely there will be a massive flood of money for HS. Don't see many of the once a year punters siding with Marie's Rock over 2 separate Champion Hurdler winners in HS and Epatante, The willie mullins fever on brandy love will draw in fair support as well with the usual mullins multis.

Lets hope they do suck up plenty of funds and leave some value for MR
