“I think she deserves her chance in the Mares’ Hurdle,” said Katie Croft, co-founder of Canter Banter Racing alongside David Fehily.
“It might cut up a little bit at the top – Telmesomethinggirl might go for the Mares’ Chase and Marie’s Rock is a possible for the Stayers’ and if you ran into the top four you would be delighted. We’re under no illusion we’ll beat two Champion Hurdlers, but we’ll probably go for the Mares’.

Ruined her mark, would've won the coral cup if ground was good to soft.
I think they are all watching the weather forecasts
Cheltenham got too much stick last year with the ground riding as quick as it did on day 1
Its been quick for most of the season, they are watering and with forecasts being as they are, we could get Good to Soft, maybe some soft... If so, you'd wonder whether they'd save Theatre Glory for another day, send Epatante to the CH and run Maries Rock in the Mares. Too many ifs and buts, but I do think things will start to make sense next week once we get a view of hold of the weather

It sounds like they still believe Epatante is running here... I'm sure a few have suggested Champion Hurdle recently.
Theatre Glory

I just dug out and rewatched it the episode of Cheltenham... Only Bettor where Jerry McGrath talked up Theatre Glory - I took note that day as went on to say (paraphrased)...
"Fancied her in the Gerry Feilden.... fav for handicap race at Cheltenham but it was called out, she's been a unlucky this year, we'll see where to take her next, but she'll probably have 1-2 runs before going mares hurdle at Cheltenham, I thought it was good decision to run not run her in novice hurdle (at fez) last year, she was qualified for ?50k handicap at Kelso which she won. Good each-way at 25's"
That video was loaded on 15th Dec, last 5 minutes - before Theatre Glory went to Kempton, finishings 3rd in a handicap (top weight) at Kempton
Would have been a nice horse for the Coral cup, not sure whether her previous mark would have go her in (137) this year. Anyway, just wanted to comment given I recalled that episode with McGrath, points towards the yards/connections confidence that they thought of her as a Grade 1 mare, and the yard has had some prior and proven experience bringing on mares really quickly (Epatante, Maries Rock). Still a head scratcher as to why they didnt add her to the Mares entries in the first place
Marie's Rock is out to double figures for this on the exchange so they look to be edging that way.
Current exchange prices:
Honeysuckle 3.75
Epatante 5.2
Brandy Love 8.0
Echoes in Rain 9.4
Marie's Rock 10.5
Love Envoi 10.5
Bar 17.0
This might be a bit too simplistic, but i don't see Epatante reversing form with Honeysuckle, unless Honeysuckle is regressing at quite a rate. Epatante is also 9yr old so it's not like she's got age on her side, and I'm doubtful 2.5 miles around Cheltenham will see her at her best.
Of the others; Brandy beaten last time out, Echoes a doubt over the trip, Love Envoi thrashed by Brandy last season.
I'm a big Brandy Love fan () but it wouldn't shock me if there was an upset in this. Step forward Queens Brook, Shewearsitwell or Theatre Glory....?!

Epatante? I assume so with MR likely to go Stayers. I can't really see Nicky relying on TG in this.
OK, I thought the Champion Hurdle was still under consideration.
Didn't AP put up Epatante without CH as a bet the other day ?
That said, exchanges suggest you're right....
I've just taken a small nibble (0.25pts) on Theatre Glory on the exchanges (21's). No more for now until I see final decs.
Re-watched some of here races, especially her win at Warwick. Nico can be quite animated with his ride, but with her that day - he hardly moved, actually it looked like he was still restricting her up until they came around the final bend. Looked a little lonely in front, could go better sitting behind one as they come up the hill.
There's just something about this horse, makes me think she could improve further and improve a lot for her next run
