  • Chill everyone she'll win and if anyone thinks PT will be giving her a tough ride then they're surely mistaken

Of course it's not a positive, don't think i've said that to be fair!

The point was if one of those mentioned above had shown the capability to veer a lot going right handed- and was running her prep off a 311 day lay-off vs a mare that's shown a good level of form and is race fit i wouldn't say we'd be saying "oh there a cert" either.

It's like QB in the race last year even, she had been off a while and was out for prep for Cheltenham. Finished 2nd catching the eye and giving weight.....went close last year.

Get it's a stronger race this year, but a prep can be a prep.

      • 6/4 and I'm backing her today

Actually quite interested in what happens with the Mares Hurdle market following this race, whatever the result (within reason).

        • Well she's jumping straight enough anyway!

I didn't say you did either

Yep, it can be a prep....

Again, people have taken a lot of offense to me saying what 'will' annoy me...nobody has actually done it ... yet....

and we're about to see if it's all moot....

            OH DEAR

            • That's pretty much exactly what I was expecting to see

Travelled and jumped very nicely got a bit tired at the end

Not given a hard time at all, hands and heels

Probably run to about 150 and should now be spot on for 3 weeks time

Where if she can improve to 155+ she will be bang there

              • She traveled nicely. Definitely a good thing

                • ….BL & QB both available at 10-1 after that.

                  • Even giving the weight and first run of the season, that was pretty poor wasn't it? I think Queensbrook is a right pig and she's won that well, even Anna Bunina done her for second.

                        • 10/1 is far too big an overreaction imo, I’ve had a bit of that.

Not ideal obviously but it looked like she tired on the home straight. Jumped a lot better today.

I think the running to 150 is a massive stretch FF surely?

                            • Probably worth remembering that Queens Brook lost in the Quevega last year when rated only 131 and was giving 3lb to Burning Victory (rated 141).
The form was turned around quite a bit at Cheltenham.

I thought Queens Brook looked good then, but they should be closer in March.
Hell of a race with 7 or 8 mares in with a chance.
I'd be all over Maries Rock but posh boy and henderson might go for the wrong race.
