I made the early decision that Epatante was the better out of her and Maries Rock. Today's performance by MR has got me worried as it looks like MR is still improving based off her beating of Dashel Drasher who is very consistent and always runs to an RPR of high 150s. Therefore I now want MR on side although Epatante is as good as last year according to Hend and Aidan Coleman(but which may not be good enough to beat MR).
However, I'm still hoping that Brandy Love will be good enough to beat them both but we've not seen her this season which is not ideal but I don't seem to be worried.

Anyway, the above seems pretty conclusive so thanks for posting, but no harm NRNB anyway, I'll not bother though
I'd knocked backed her for the Stayers but I hope she goes there for the Brandy Love bets to be honest

Reckon this is overlooked a bit but I'd be keen to find a progressive two and half mile hurdler that stepping up in a year like this.

I was only surprised it was mentioned because she's a mare, not that I don't think horses can do it (win the Stayers without running at 3m first) by the way.
The Mares Hurdle existing means I personally wouldn't consider it for very long...
If they had a 2m4f hurdle race at Cheltenham, Solwhit and Nichols Canyon probably wouldn't have won a Stayers ... as they'd have had another option...
.... obviously glad it doesn't and hopefully never will.

FORM OVER 3 MILES - Since 1989 there have been 25 different winners of this race. eight of them were attempting 3 miles for the first time in the UK or IRE. They were Nichols Canyon (had actually tried it in America) More Of That, Solwhit, Inglis Drever, Bacchanal, Karshi, Princeful and Nomadic Way. Inglis actually came here from winning the Haydock Champion Hurdle Trial and then the Kingwell at Wincanton in 3m 47secs. He had been second to Fundamentalist in the Neptune Novice Hurdle the previous season.
Up to 2013, only 4 of the previous 33 win and place had not won over 3 miles. Inglis was joined by Kazal and Crystal D'Ainay who were placed in Graded 3 milers before this and Smad Place 2011 on his first run over 3 miles. Kazal had won a Graded Race over 2m 6f in a Limerick bog. None of More of That,Annie Power, Solwhit nor Celestial Halo had previously tried 3 miles over hurdles.
All placed horses in the last six years bar Ronald Pump had Graded place form over 3 miles

She finishes her races so strong, I think they may have missed a trick by not trying 3m yet.
Still I will have no problem cheering her on in the Mares.
Shes lovely!!

champ has got no chance imo and Buzz won’t be back in training until Feb as I understand it...Hendo has probably his best ever opportunity to take all 3 senior hurdle races this year with CH, Epatante and MR and normally it is only Willie that can say that. This time it is both of them ....they could have the front two in the betting in the first two legs and end up with a KD /MR showdown.
Anyway I have wasted enough of mine and others time with something that isn’t going to happen. And just to clarify one thing HBTL is by far my biggest winner in the stayers and close to the whole festival so there is nothing pocket related here.
