The staff have been brilliant; the clerk of the course has performed miracles, the stable staff are everyday heroes, the crowd are resplendent, I am very tall and patronising and ridiculously sentimental. We might not have tiger roll this year but we have honeysuckle the queen of Cheltenham and possibly the greatest horse since Arkle. We need to put aside our broader concern for racing’s welfare, forget about the governments white paper, the black market, the whip controversy, cast away thoughts of intrusive affordability checks and brace ourselves for the greatest show on earth

Rachel now jocked up on Honey and Nico on Marie’s Rock in the mares hurdle on the BHA site so assume that means they are coming here?? No one on board Honey in the Champion Hurdle. Still trying to make sense of viewing the live decs before 10am thingy. Apologies if I’ve got it all round my neck.
