I know I'm late to this and I love honeysuckle, but I honestly hope she loses in the Mares, just doesn't sit right with me they've decided to go this route this retire her!

If they think beating MR/BL/Epatante/EIR/LE is easier than beating/placing CH/SM then more fool them in my opinion.

Wait to see if Honey lines up, and wait to see how the stayers looks.
Will he want both Epatante and MR in the same ultra competitive race?
Will he try and win both?
Im trying my best to get her covered for both.
I personally think she has serious chances in either, but think the stayers offers her the best chance of winning.
Be very interesting how it pans out.
Would love to be a fly on the wall when they are discussing!!
There's a lot of talk about going for the "easier" race when it's a Mares race and it's spoken of really negatively (see Honey debate), surely if MR moves up in distance for the "easier" race at Cheltenham, it's just as disappointing from a sporting perspective even if it does mean taking on the boys?

The trip may well bring further improvement for Marie's Rock who is currently only 3lbs behind Teahupoo with her allowance. Her running in the race would be brilliant as well as it'll add so much more value to what looks a very open race.
