Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

          • Something that’s never occurred to me before, but what would be the split of the winnings between the owner, trainer, jockey and staff? Anyone have a rough idea?

It used to be 9% Trainer, 9% jockey, 0.5% staff, the rest to the owner...most tend to tip whoever looks after the horse, sometimes they'll give the staff a bit on top too off the books.
I'm going back 8/10 years so percentages may have changed a bit since then.

Where’s Bayoffreedom, he provided us with a breakdown once and I’m sure I remember the owner receiving around 50%…

I believe he was talking about the percentage the owner gets from a races total pool,
The percentage the trainer, jockey, staff get from the race pool is 5 / 6% each for trainer,jockey,3% to staff for a winner.

I was listing what the owner typically does with his percentage, sorry for any confusion.

                      • I should add this varies slighty depending on race conditions,Grade,Code and amateur jockeys races have a different scale too.

I think that Ireland is similar but not identical.
