Rachael gave him a very easy, educational ride - let him travel on the outside throughout and it was good to see him fight back after pecking on landing at the last and not letting those behind him get in front.

Not sure he is AB class but we would have said the same for Minella Indo after his debut. Step up will definitely suit.

Now Queens Gamble is impressive again! Surely she goes hurdling now and should be up there in this

More likely to go down the champion bumper route by the looks of it from Sherwood

Was from his interview on RTV after the race. Don’t have the exact wording though. Will be on RTV interviews tonight I’d hope.

Basiclly she’s still 4, plan is to go the Henrietta Knight at Huntingdon next, aim to face the boys later in the season. Though will speak to owners. If she was 5 would more likely go straight hurdling. Pretty much what he said

“It was really good to see her do that. You always worry it was a bit of a freak first-time out. She is always a mare I’ve liked. You never think you are going to win bumpers around Cheltenham like that, firstly first time out and second time out.

“She is as good a mare as I have trained and I’ve trained a few good mares. It is very exciting, especially for the owners, as she is a home-bred and they raced the dam with Jessie Harrington and to get the offspring to do that is something very special.

“My gut feeling was to go hurdling. We will will probably go to Huntingdon for the Henrietta Knight race and my gut feeling is to take on the boys back here in March.

“She is only four. If she was five, I’d go straight hurdling now. She is quite light, but Jessie kept telling me the mother was just the same when she was eight and nine."

Hugely impressive. Hurdled and travelled great. Won a decent race easily.

I couldn't fault that as a hurdles debut. She sets a decent standard.

Jumped at pace Aswel as Skelton didn’t take any prisoners. And dossed infront making you think lots still under the bonnet

Loved the way she seemed to doss a bit, one crack and readily picked up. Impressed by that.

Hope a few got on at the 25/1 with hills I highlighted a few months back

She should have a huge chance
