    Now that's quite clearly not as bullish as you can get from Nicholls, and it's probably true and honest, but it just seems strange when the combination of Nicholls and owner (de la Hey) have often skipped Cheltenham completely... with no runner since Al Ferof for the trainer, it just has to be noted IMO.

    No real reason to play it down, but chance this horse is a wild old price on the day with extra places and things.

    The 2nd from his win hasn't run, but the 3rd and 4th have both been out and won on next start.


    Just to confirm, wouldn't back at the current 25/1, I am pretty sure he'll be that on the day or bigger.
    Ask For Glory ran in the bumper for Nicholls in 2019 when Envoi Allen won. I only know that as I was tracking him as a novice chaser. He finished 9th but was disappointing for the rest of his career.

      Captain Teague was one of the visually most impressive P2P winners last season for my money. Not sure about the CB but he's on my radar as a novice hurdler. Although the Irish challenge in the bumper does look weaker than usual this year.. or no standout at least. Might be an each way on the day, as Kev said can't see him be much shorter on the day. Probably get big field and more places as well...

        Ah yes, I thought that comment seemed a bit off but none jumped out at me.

        Still, one for next year..... ultimately to come up short at Cheltenham and win at Aintree

            FUN FUN FUN
            Very impressive at Leopardstown. She came there off the back of a break and a short preparation, and I fully expected her to blow-up which she did coming out the back stretch but then got her second wind and took off as if she’d just jumped in at the two furlong pole. She must have a huge engine and it will be interesting to see how she goes. It looked a good race she won last time, she must be top class.



            .....think Willie likes her somehow!!
