Trainer Mullins, earlier successful with Hauturiere said “it was a very good performance from the horse and jockey. He was too keen the whole way and to produce a run like that after running so keen for a mile-and-three-quarters showed that he has a lot left in the locker. It looked a fair race, in very tough ground.
“He's a horse that we're really looking forward to going over jumps. He looks a real chaser in the making, however he probably booked a ticket to Cheltenham (for the bumper) with that run.
“He looks an exciting recruit for Ronnie Bartlett and David Manasseh, who is a football agent.”

King Of Kingsfield Champion Bumper, 33-1
We fancied him to run a big race at Leopardstown over Christmas but he disappointed us. He wasn't right and scoped dirty afterwards. He's much better than he showed there and goes straight to the Champion Bumper.
......better re-back him boys and girls

No Time To Wait Champion Bumper, 20-1
He bolted up at Down Royal and that was more than enough to book his ticket to the Champion Bumper. He's a horse we think has got a decent future.
Pour Les Filles
Champion Bumper, 14-1
I liked the way he won his point for Colin Motherway and he made a winning start for us in a Leopardstown bumper over Christmas. He's on the Champion Bumper team and is coming along nicely at home.

Did get caught up in this race way too early myself haven’t touched it in awhile. Certainly will be playing it cooler next season

At least hurdles and chases are worth watching
I'll probably re-back KoK though
