Typical Berry bullshit.

There's a better way to pass on "information" like this, than what we've seen on here recently.
And there's also a not so good way.
That's me being polite.

If this doesn't turn out to be true I think another banning is in order. People will have been hovering over bets or already cashed on the back of it. No movement on exchange which would have been all over shop like Allaho was. As there's always someone close by who knows of the decision and would be trying to profit off the back of it.

Nobody’s putting a gun to someone’s head to cashout. He posted some info that’s been passed onto him, up to people to do what they want with it themselves then.
We don’t want people to be afraid to pass on information they’re told do we on the off chance it turns out to be incorrect.

What is it with the infiltration of ITKs the last few weeks, first the Constitution hill idiot now this guy, not saying he's wrong as we don't know but we did have someone who was active the weeks close to the festival last year who did have a source in the JP camp e.g Glen's of antrim being retired

They are choosing to do so.
I think people would just appreciate it being done in a decent manner, rather than in a vague, staccato like manner.
Especially after the incident the other day.
Starting off with "I hear" is not a good look.
Adding context is very important with information like this.

Think we need to be careful about not shooting the messenger. The last guy was clearly just trying to be a troll and was rightly banned, that doesn't immediately mean anyone who posts info that everyone who doesn't have thousands of posts is suddenly a troll too.
I can't remember anyone purposely posting false information before the other day, as SeanRock says, we will just end up making people afraid to pass on any information they hear. Owners and trainers are allowed to change their minds, it happens all the time.

It's important to question the poster too though surely. If a vague sentence is posted like it was here, isn't it right to try and glean more information so that the forum is as best informed as possible? In that sentence we don't know who the poster has heard the info from and why it is likely the horse isn't going to Chelts.
Even more important as the previous information passed on by the poster was very quickly contradicted by the Trainer. That's not to say that he didn't hear the information, but it might say something about the reliability of the source.Last edited by Exar Essay; 15 February 2023, 02:55 PM.
