I do think It's for Me and Did I Ask You That are the two most promising seen this year, with Slade Steel not too far behind.

Barry would still be interesting (but wouldn't turn up) and Henry and Gordon have some good PTP recruits who were trained to win their 4 year old PTPs and could turn up here and run well.

There can’t be many bumpers left to qualify in can there? Other than next weeks for which entries are out, I think there might only be 3.

The last paragraph is just me musing. I don't think there are realistically any other contenders who haven't been seen yet. But I don't think this bumper lot will be the best novice hurdlers next year (apart from the 2 Mullins horses I've mentioned who I'd expect to be at least 140+ novice hurdlers). Fact to File will be a Bartlett horse and the rest today won't be a factor next year.

Agree re FTF. I’m on at 40s already. Can see him staying on 3rd and him being a well backed fav all summer.

I think todays winner could get close to 140 for todays run. Fact To File looked better today and scored 132 LTO. He was beaten by 2 lengths and 3lbs better off. But he’s a flat horse so won’t be a better hurdler IMO.
