Underwhelming, or at least muddling, division so far. More so after a key trial race. Maybe just been spoilt by a good 5 or 6 years and this season is more back in line with a ‘typical’ year though.
Shame no BDA in the race today but think it very un-Willie that we didn’t see CDS line up here. Maybe didn’t want to run him without a win under his belt I suppose. I feel like I could have 10 guesses at the winner in this and still miss thoughComment

As a Fact To File backer, I'd have preferred a win but am not too disheartened. The front two finished well clear and I think Fact To File would prefer a stronger pace that he should get in a big field Champion Bumper.Comment

I do think It's for Me and Did I Ask You That are the two most promising seen this year, with Slade Steel not too far behind.
Barry would still be interesting (but wouldn't turn up) and Henry and Gordon have some good PTP recruits who were trained to win their 4 year old PTPs and could turn up here and run well.Comment
