Absolutely. Not taken to chasing so Pertemps now the Plan. Very well handicapped on Novice form. Meets all the trends as well. A very nice EW price currently at 25/1 which will collapse if he finishes first 4 Saturday. It's his ONLY hurdles entry at the Fez as well.

To get really popular he'd be winning well Saturday and in turn make life tougher for himself naturally. He's always had an engine but never shown anything any respect his profile is nothing like any of the 3 horses you have mentioned tbh.

Not Bear Grills at the minute.
But don't have a strong fancy this year,

The Irish don't look that well treated to me, and there are a few UK runners that look dangerous but nothing looks obvious to me.
I'd probably side with Bosses Oscar 15-1 and Good Time Jonny 33-1 if pushed.

I only have 6 backed at the moment so waiting until things settle, and may have to choose one of hendersons. probably walking on air.
Got Maxxum and Glimpse of Gala both backed on the win today markets at 40's and 80's
And Salvador at 25's and 32-1
small saver on perceval at 12-1.

Hoping Shoot First don't run, or he'll be in a saver double on the day.

I was quite keen on Captain Conby and My Immortal and lost antepost stakes on both when not entered.

But not confident on any of my bets in this, like I've been in previous years.

I've only fallen on Bear Ghylls as he is a TWAR horse of mine who I thought might end up in one of the Novice chases. It just makes complete sense now the Pertemps route and this race does throw up some odd winners. I noticed he's been nibbled at today from 25's with 365 and a few others . Probably loonies like me hoping he can sneak into the top 4 on Saturday and maybe finally live up to the mini hype that surrounded him as a Novice Hurdler. I live in hope.

He was a good option for any race, reasonable well handicapped hurdlers with previous festival runs, that may revert back if not excelling over fences.
So you deserve a run for your money.

Part B of Bear Ghylls Pertemps plan executed. Grabbed 4th place to qualify. Clearly wanted to make sure he made it as went hard at the front end to break the field up. Tired late on understandably but held on .....just. Job done and can ride him with a little more restraint in the final. May even get dropped a few pounds.
