Hoping MoM will back with us soon, but in the meantime we can take thoughts on a theme for this months Yankee.

One suggestion from somer1 is for a single selection from each of Mullins, Elliott, Henderson & HdB. I’d just like 4 winners regardless of theme.

…I’ll suggest Chemical Energy (NHC) for Elliott.

Seems a certain target, seems he’s now being laid out for the race & he’s still an ok price for a Yankee (10-1 365). I know he’s already in a previous bet but who cares.

Maybe i’m speaking from inexperience but the novice mares division this years seams pretty stacked. Should make for some great showdowns, today was a good sample of that bunch.

Watching it back it didn't look a great bunch. I'd be looking elsewhere for the festival winner.

We just had mighty potter in yesterdays Canadian, wasn’t that impressive even though he won and the odds have now shortened so wouldn’t be keen to double down on him just yet.

The Mullins one I'd be putting in is Facile Vega for the Ballymore. Talk on here that they were thinking ballymore with him. We have Brandy Love in the June one already. Facile at 4s for the ballymore or Brandy at 4s for mares, I'd be siding with Facile even though it is 50/50 we're he goes but Brandy is injury prone as well

Gordon's is tough to pick with the Canadian just done. Chemical energy for the NHC chase would be the one I'd be leaning towards at the prices at the minute.

Hendo only had 2 winners last year at the festival, Constitution hill and Marie's rock? So I'd be leaning towards the supreme market or one of his mares. Jet powered or park hill dancer supreme.. luccia or between waters mares novices. These might get races before then end of the month?

De Bromhead I'd go for Barry the Butcher. Form was franked there again today and King of kingsfield wasn't that eye-catching

The problem is it won’t be placed for another 4 weeks and all the markets will have changed by then depending on who runs in the meantime. Almost no point discussing it until late November.

Coming close to End of Nov with just 1 weekend left.

My 4 Trainer picks would be the following. El Fab appears to be the Tier 1 option for WP. Hollow Games debut was quite nice for Elliot, some value still with APT for Henry but an equal risk none the less. Haven’t seen much of Henderson team debut yet this year and Jonbon is far too short. The whispers for Luccia seam to continue on.
