Glancing through the form of other horses, this has common practice and nusret 4-5lbs below their runs behind lossiemouth at fairyhouse at the beginning of December and gives the fourth a 14lb improvement on his debut hurdle.

    • Few whispers about St Donats flying about after getting an initial entry in this. Anyone know much about him besides reading what form is available?

French journalist tagged me in a tweet before - https://twitter.com/CharlyMilpied/st...53100375150593

        Translation comes up as:

St Donats is entered in the Triumph Hurdle (Grande Course de Haies des 4 ans du #CheltenhamFestival )

Trainer: "The horse has just returned and seems well. For the moment, his participation has not been confirmed. He will tell us. To date, advantage of the French program."

He was going to go chasing in the Autumn but they decided to stay hurdling and obviously worked out well.

They said after the Cambaceres he wouldn't go to Cheltenham but today said he has came back well so entered him. Still more likely to stay in France though.

Just 6 in it. Disappointing. No Afadil and no Irish.

                    1 Irish..... Comfort Zone declared.

                    • Interested to see how JDG behaves amongst a proper crowd of punters, don't think he had the authentic pre race experience last time at Newbury on account of the rain beforehand. Gary Moore made sure to highlight that he's a headcase of a horse to handle in interviews afterwards

On that miserable Wednesday, the donuts and hot chocolate stand pretty much saved me and my wife's life

Aye, a lot of my hurdlers have been greyed since entries for some reason.

Appreciate the reassurance Craigy, yeah very strange how they’re operating the cashouts this year, certain novice hurdlers getting the cautious treatment.
