I think milton harris might have something to say about that
Yep Scriptwriter looks the best of the British.
And he looked like he was better than the winning margin.
But he needs to be, as the form with the Irish looks well behind.
Just from that trial race alone.
Mullins should easily have the first 3 home.
The editor du gite thingy, looks very much like it was a day when many horses just didn't act on the ground, especially the inexperienced ones who probably thought "What the fuck is this"
and gave up. I also think the ground on one side was clearly better.
Harold Kirk probably. Clear on his own for spotting horses.
The French purchases are generally Pierre Boulard. They regularly buy placed horses rather than winners because it leaves the novice status intact if they want to give them a year to mature. French trainers know that and some of these are campaigned to place rather than win.

Yeah I'd agree he'd need to be worth more than his winning margin against perseus way.
But with the greenness he showed that day when hitting the front, i'd like to think he was.
Through Comfort zone and the only collateral form line we have, he has 6 lengths to find with lossiemouth.
Not a race to be handing out just yet

Thanks - good to know who purchases the French ones.

On the Arqana sales when I've looked, a number of the french breds which have been bought there tend to be by Harold Kirk, are the ones Pierre buys generally private sales?

It's a mix because he's an agent and also buys through his company to sell on. As far as I know, Willie and Harold go over for the big sales but there are many private deals which would generally be handled by Pierre. I imagine there's some sort of agreement that Willie has first option.
Blood Destiny entered at Fairyhouse on Saturday against the likes of Jazzy Matty, Nusret and Common Practice. At 16/1, I think he’s currently the best value bet for the Triumph.
A snippet from a recent G.Moore interview.
"Editeur Du Gite’s win was not the only nice surprise for Moore over Christmas as the two-mile chaser’s half-brother Jupiter Du Gite struck at 66-1 in an introductory hurdle at Newbury four days later.
The juvenile hurdler is a best-price 14-1 for the JCB Triumph Hurdle with Coral and heads to Cheltenham for the race's trial on January 28."

I was really taken by this ones performance which was a nice cushion for the blow of Jet Powereds disappointing run. I think if someone is looking to take on Lossiemouth at a half decent price then they could do a lot worse than that 14s.

I don't disagree, but I generally get nervous around 66/1 shots winning a big race that dents a few reputations, it always makes me wonder whether everything else has underperformed because they clearly weren't expecting the winner to do what he did...

I got 22-1 with ladbrokes straight after the race.
But something tells me it's a waste of money.
