Don't think I'll be going for more. In fact I am going to concentrate elsewhere from this race now.

Disappointing run, jumped like a bag of spanners, I'll let it ride as I didn't place with cash out.

However one I noted prior to the race and worth noting depending on what else Gordon and Willie have up the sleeves is Noel Meades horse in second Bridgehead, could be one for the trackers foe the Boodles, he usually goes under the radar and loves targeting big handicaps.

        Mctigue 28-1 Ladbrokes.
Probably worth having onside for the triumph.
Was waiting, but Segal just namechecked.
Looks like he's owned by same connections P Byrne as the Shunter before he was sold.
Wouldn;t surprise me if Mcmanus buys this fella now.
Flat breeding but plenty of stamina I reckon.
        Looks a real battler/staying type.
His maiden win looks decent form already.
Obviously already a grade 2 winner in France after the weekend.
Flat form also decent and was rated 98.

Gone down an extremely similar route to Fujimoto Flyer by going to Auteuil with McTigue, rather than The Shunter. That one was purchased from Byrne/Mullins to Souede/Munir after winning in France. In fact, it's almost a carbon copy, with the exception of their flat ratings.

Was a grade 2 in France also, Fujimoto won a listed.
I reckon this lad is much better.

Highly likely. Flat rating is better, as you noted. Wonder who will buy him. Doubt it will be Munir/Souede after they were sold FF, as she's done barely anything for them since then!

Form lines would have him slightly behind a couple from France, that have come over, but that was early season French form so can be taken with a pinch of salt, I guess.

I'd kind of like Emmet to keep him, even if Byrne wants to offload.
So he gets the right medicines.

Emmet kept Fujimoto, so you never know, that may happen

It’s getting to the time of year when there will be lots of ‘experts’ putting up selections soon. They’ll be a hundred ante post videos being churned out monthly soon too. The markets will no doubt become worse than they are already in some cases, even before horses see the track.

She's getting short enough now. Obviously she ticks a few right boxes but the yard have Gala Marceau too (very little between them), and I think someone noted the other day about the mares record, in general, for the Triumph Hurdle. Not ideal.

With her experience gained already I do think the Boodles could be where Gala Marceau will head. She could have a warm up then straight there. That way they can split her and Lossie.

I've got the Boodles winner, so that will be a waste of time
