I think the thing that struck me, and I haven't done the sectionals, but was the way they came back to him then he scooted clear again like he had just started the race.

Like you, I'd like to see him in a battle, but think he could just be a proper talent.
Yeah, exactly..... if he drifts I'll chance him again (double down) .... but vibes seem to be Lossiemouth is 'the one'. .... Ricci seemed livid and bitter, I feel like (and this is pure feel) that they''ll be doing whatever they can do get Lossiemouth in the Cheltenham winners enclosure...

      • I'm just catching up having been out all day on the beers for the rugby.

Regardless of our positions, today makes for a great Festival race!

a huge run fron Gala Marceau, regardless of anything else, not sure you can mark than down

A huge run from Lossiemouth, not sure you can write her off after what she overcome.

Personally can't wait, the rematch will be a cracker!

Too right as well… absolute shocking ride. Fine to take the lead from the other RR horse initially but he could see she the one infront wasn’t really jumping great but was still adamant to stick right on the inside. Asking for that kind of situation if you ask me

            • I didn't quite get Willie bemoaning Lossiemouth having a tough race and that it leaves marks on 4 year olds.

Vauban didn't exact have a canter on debut

I think he meant with it being so close to Cheltenham rather than in general about tough races.

                    • I enjoyed Ruby's slip of the tongue talking about Lossiemouth at the DRF on the Paddy Power podcast "that's the public explanation, I mean the popular explanation"

Nothing, he was probably just thinking ahead to being asked about Willie's comments and mixed up two words that have the same first sylable. Was funny though.

I think Blood Destiny will prove to be better than Lossiemouth, personally.

I can see gala marceaux improving past her

Improved a huge amount from first to second run

And she will love a strong pace
