At least that puts to bed the nonsense of Gala M going to the Boodles

At least she'll be a price for a bit now, she'd have gone odds on and we don't want that....

Sour grapes from Ricci as well ..... I think they'll reverse it in March FWIW.

With it being her second race of the season I backed Gala Marceau today with a cover bet for 2 places thinking she could overturn the result from Christmas – obviously got very lucky with Lossiemouth - she's clearly got the bigger engine - but glad I've got them both + Blood Destiny covered for March.Last edited by Sprinter Sacre; 4 February 2023, 06:40 PM.

Lossiemouth looked unlucky but don't think reversing the result with the winner will be that easy. GM pulled like mental for most of the race but still had plenty at the end. Hard to split the two but thankfully on them both early doors so happy to see either win. Both had hard races though so that could have an impact come March and others may benefit.

I think Lossiemouth wins that by at least 5 lengths or more if she hadn't been impeded.Last edited by ComplyOrDie; 4 February 2023, 09:51 PM.

I can't shake Willie blurting out that he thought Lossiemouth would get an easy race today.
I like her more now after being beaten than I did before the race.
That can't be smart, and not likely to 'go in' again but it did feel telling about his pecking order. Which is probably 99% conjecture on my part.

I know you was pretty impressed LTO, straight after the race, and the form lines through Nusret have him extremely close with Lossiemouth.

Ultimately, when a horse hasn't been seen in a battle, I refuse to go overboard...

I think the thing that struck me, and I haven't done the sectionals, but was the way they came back to him then he scooted clear again like he had just started the race.
Like you, I'd like to see him in a battle, but think he could just be a proper talent.
