Who knows what he will do in March but it could be fun!!
I think we might know our fate on trials day.
Hopefully not, just think that form is rank and an outlier myself.
    But could easily be wrong.

Possibly, I'm another member of the "jumped on with Coral/Ladbrokes immediately after the race" club so perhaps that'll add a slight bias to my view and I'll just have to hope the form works out. I wasn't in on the front running Gary Moore nutter when Goshen fell so it could be an interesting ride this time.

He was getting nearly a stone and a half off some as well that day. On that ground too, that would’ve really helped.

        • For what it's worth I think he's a freak and the next super star. Could be a real tussle between him and Miss Lossie. I'm there on Trials day as well so I'll let you know what he's like in the flesh.

          • I’m with Ista on this one, the race completely fell apart, Jet Powered cruised into contention and just burst. I think most of them that day hated the ground. This lad loved it which is fair enough but it makes the form very very questionable imo.

Also as EE says he was getting some amount of weight off the others that day too.

Just because Constitution Hill did similar year before I don’t think we can start calling any performance like that ‘superstar’ material.

To be fair to Lobos, he did start with FWIW

It just seems a tad premature given what we know.

His own trainer was even gobsmacked!

If he does the same again to them in just over 2 weeks then maybe that'll change people's mind. Lossiemouth backers will be getting jumpy! Wonder what sort of price he'll be on Trials Day?

Gala Marceau beats them both anyway!

In all seriousness, I've disregarded the Newbury form from that day, including Hermes because of the ground. I do look forward to watching Jupiter again and if I have to change my mind then I'll happily do so. Unfortunately I won't get another chance to see Hermes so I'll have to stick to my guns on that one.

Got her covered for that one as well so I'll have no problem if that's the case!

Me too. Prefer her in the Boodles as I can't see her turning the tables on Lossie personally. If they both go Triumph then that's not a bad bit of ammo to go to war with.

He'll be behind Scriptwriter for sure, unless the world's gone mad.
Imagine their respective odds in a flat race off levels ?
