I'd love it if she went that way. Every chance that'll happen I reckon in view of Lossiemouth's superiority today even taking into account it was her first run back.

I'd fancy her for it. Problem is the JP horses in behind getting an 'easy' ride should we say.

She could get too high a rating after today as well so might be forced to run in the Triumph.

Slap bang in the middle at 7 1/2 lengths. For now Lossiemouth is certainly the one, but I think there's a hell of a lot of improvement to come from Gala Marceau.

As noted, Lossiemouth had race fitness on her side, and Gala Marceau was plenty keen enough and still finished 9 lengths ahead of the 3rd. Whatever happens between GM and Lossie, Willie wins the Triumph again, unless Bo Zenith is a weapon.

            • Doubt he’s winning the Triumph but that was some ride by Walsh on Tekao. So keen most of the way but managed to get him to settle a couple of furlongs out which might’ve been the difference.

Tekao would certainly be suited by a stronger pace which is normally would you'd expect in a big-field Triumph - unless Lossiemouth scares off a lot of the opposition.

….Tekao into a best price 9-1F for Boodles.

                    (Note; still 10-1 TWAR Hills).

Was more snug than he needed to be that’s for sure. I’m just thinking JP has a whole bunch for the Boodles already (mainly off the flat) and I think he’d want one in the Triumph, whether that proves to be Tekao or not, I’m unsure.

Comfort zone may have won, but he's only beaten perseus way a similar distance that scriptwriter did. It may give her form a boost but scriptwriter surely gets a boost from perseus way there, especially considering the greenness he showed when beating perseus way, i'd certainly say scriptwriter is the value bet here.

                              Sinbad Le Marin

Not a dicky but I’m hoping he’ll win as I have an eye on one for the Boodles running against.
