….all the stable tours are in a thread in the Members section. The thread is ‘stickied’ in the top section. For ease of reference, there are links to all trainers in post #1.

Tekao has only ran twice in his young life (once on the flat) and hadn't raced for 215 days so you would think that there would be plenty of improvement to come. Jazzy Matty is also very inexperienced having had only two runs (both over hurdles) so again you would hope he keeps on improving with racing. In contrast, the winner was running for the seventh time so much more experienced than the second and third horses.
      Haha

Don't disagree with what you're saying in general here, just very easy in my opinion to be confident that the winner of the Triumph won't be a horse that's been beaten so easily on debut by a horse that as you note, has raced 7 times already... if Tekao gets to 'that' level, it still won't be good enough to win a Triumph will it?

Move on, I backed him too, bets gone

            • Looking at Lossiemouth isn't being a filly a big negative for this?

Just one filly winner since 2000, and that was when Goshen fell.

              What's people's opinions on this?

I said the same when there were a few of them fancied early season. However, the sample probably isn’t huge and it seems that Willie has changed is approach this year and bought three year olds that have already won over hurdles. This forces his hand to campaign them as juveniles as he can’t hold them back for novice campaigns the following year.

Think he'll throw a few at the Boodles as they'll have the required experience/runs. Which ones though I don't know.

Of 22 fillies that started 14/1 or less 4 winners (Mysilv,Shawiya, Snowdrop, and Burning Victory),and 8 placed. (Gaultstats).

Mmm... it's just the stat of in the last 22 years 0 filly winners. (I'm excluded Burning Victory)

                      Just puts me off

Snowdrop was in 2000 so this century. Of the 42 that had sps of over 14/1 not a win or place. So if Lossiemouth is fancied on the day as seems likely, I wouldn't be put off.

                          • Would be something for Mullins throwing Lossiemouth straight into a grade 3 on Sunday, I'm expecting Zarak to be declared and not Lossiemouth but we'll see.

I’m actually most interested in Risk Belle. She was my personal fav of the fillies he bought but I got put off after she received no mention in the stable tour.

She's 16-1 twar with WH @JackieMoon - which gives a bit of cover for the Boodles too.
