Don't know what to make of that race really, like a few others said ramillies was being clawed in by thedevilscoachman, would he get the extra few furlongs up the hill?
In addition to probably benefiting from the closing of the gap on the 2nd, but I think he might still have another to compete come March especially if GDM goes the 3 miler. I can’t imagine they would run both in the NHC, it’s hardly the Gold Cup level of prestige.
Just double checked but Thedevilscoachman isn’t qualified and won’t have the time now to do it. Amirite also needs another run, so just down to the other three to take out from that race.

Devilscoachman isn't entered (Frank berry special) - but he is qualified.
Amirite is also qualified. and is entered.
Thedevilscoachman has run repeatedly only in Ireland. Not that unusual for one of Meade's. He's only entered in the BANC as well. If he comes over, Mark Walsh will be back for the ride. I'd expect JP and Berry would want to come to the Festival with it.
Elliott is doing different things this year, so I wouldn't be too perturbed about CE coming out today.
Amirite UR in his only race over more than 2m 6.5… Every other race has been shorter than 2m7.5 (before today). Don’t you have to complete both?
Devilscoachman has never previously run over 2m 7.5

All horses must have a minimum BHA rating of 120 to participate. This change brings the National Hunt Chase in line with the G1 novices’ chases staged at The Festival – the Racing Post Arkle Novices’ Chase, the RSA Insurance Novices’ Chase and the JLT Novices’ Chase
Horses must have run in at least two chases and must have finished in the first four in a chase staged over an extended two miles and seven and a half furlongs or further
Horses must have run at least once in a chase during the current season.
