Big Sir G fan here. He's some engine, but that jumping was poor overall imo.
I'd make no festival appearance fav after that, held back for Punchestown
No chance IMO. His record at Punchestown stinks the place out. Willie also acknowledged that he might not like the track last year. More likley Aintree if held back but I think he'll go to Cheltenham.

I backed him ages ago pre injury for the Turners and that’s where I think he’ll end up. But his jumping today was pretty ropey (which you’d expect for a novice) and slow. Worth watching this short clip…
This time last year, it was just so simple. We only had to work out where DD and SG went for their novice hurdles, knowing they'd be kept apart. This year, it's 6-7 to fit into 4 races. Multiples for me, when we know more. What's the betting one of the novice chasers has a set back over the next 7 weeks?
