Indeed but can see why most are plumping for the Turner's as it's in between. He showed a lot of pace on chasing debut and received a huge RPR as well so why would he be stepped up ?

I suspect they will want to split El Fabiolo, James Du Berlais and Bronn too. Bronn isn't qualified for the NH Chase so if that's the case, there's only one way they can split them really.

      • This is why I went any race on him

takes the stress out of it, just need him to be a high quality horse now not bothered which race he runs in

155 rpr is a very promising start

          El Fab - Arkle
          JDB - Turners
          Bronn - BANC

Jacob gets a ride in everything

          • Lot of blue on oddschecker this afternoon for James Du Berlais for Turners. 365 still offering 12/1 for anybody interested.

Exactly that. Unless Bronn gets qualified for the NHC, that's the only way they can go really. I'm not sure they'd be in any rush to do that either.

Exactly the same reason I went down the TWAR. Fed up with Mullins Bingo. Not playing that any more.

                • Dysart Dynamo 9/2 into 7/2 with PP/BF... Appreciate It now 13/2 best price from 6s with them, first signs maybe?

If JDB was Willies No.1 for the Turners would Townend not get the gig or is it a owner/jockey relationship?

                    • I'd imagine they will run JDB in whichever race will suit him best

Not sure bronn is good enough to sway their thinking on a horse in JDB who will actually have a chance of winning.

Bronn will be a big priced outsider most likely, if he even runs at the festival.

                        Future Gold Cup winner, Bronn?

I actually feel like I once read that somewhere, and now I'm thinking I must have got the wrong horse I thought he'd beaten a couple of really good horses in a bumper.... I see he once beat Flame Bearer... but it wasn't that....

                        Anyway, I agree.

Did you not give him a 100/1 shout for the Supreme Kev? Sure you did before he beat flame bearer

He was only 3 lengths behind Gerri Colombe on debut who is now 2nd favourite for the race, sure it's a stretch to see him winning it but I think he has genuine place chances. If they genuinely don't know what trip JDB would be better over, then Bronn would surely influence that decision?

If they think he is better over 3m then I agree they'd prioritise him, but given he's posted a 155 RPR over the mid trip, and there doesn't seem to be much in the way of competition at the minute, I doubt anyone will be in a massive hurry to step him up to 3 miles.

Yes sure Kev did, and the 100/1 on Saint Calvados I think before that. Are you working on the next one Kev? I’ll have a few quid on when revealed.
