Yeah he did to that effect. Since then, Richard Thompson on ATR has said we'll see SG over fences in the next few weeks so I was expecting entries at least

Saw a quote from Robbie Power earlier, not Henry [think he's Henry's race planner?]: “I’d say 2.5 to 3 miles is his game but his jumping needs to improve a little bit. He has plenty of stamina. He was a decent hurdler & hopefully he’s going to be a better chaser. Hopefully with confidence his jumping will get better.”

Just watched the race back and it's fair to say his jumping wasn't always slick but hopefully he will have learnt plenty from the run and improve next time.
To me there's no question he needs a trip but I got him wrong last year and HDB knows the horse far better than I ever will, but with some improvement through the air he looks perfect for the BANC to me...
