Thyme Hill really isn't a good enough jumper of a fence is he. I can't see him winning the BANC and wouldn't be surprised if he goes back over hurdles.
McFabulous will probably win the Kauto Star at Kempton but can't see him winning at Cheltenham

I'd love to see Crystal Glory take him on at Kempton. Not too many other 3m novice chasers who have impressed in the UK this season.
Interesting seeing the different opinions re MC and whether he looked a stayer or the opposite. Despite having been passionate about this magical sport for decades now I don’t mind being the first to admit I find it very difficult to tell the difference using my naked eye. I simply couldn’t tell you either way. My experience does tell me however that peoples opinions tend to be disproportionately linked to what they want it to be.

Big priced ante post dockets tend to sway us a bit too.
Not really sure what to make of Minella Cocooner tbh.
I've only backed him for the BANC, but really not sure if he's going to be of that level, just yet, in his career. I'm also not sure what trip they will decide on. Can leave him off the team sheet for anything else currently.

My thoughts on him at the moment are RSA but will get done for toe by something else.

He will surely improve quite a lot for the run and a return to better ground
he got beaten by hamundarson at 30/100 on reappearance last season who is rated 125
Looks like he may well be one who badly needs the run
Townend was niggling him some way out as though he wasn't picking up in the heavy ground
The main thing I took from it was that whilst he set the pace he wasn't as keen as he was last year
And if he's now relaxing better I can't see him being a turner's horse. banc looks the better option.
Seemed a very solid jumper too.

Yep, on today's performance he's probably not going to trouble the best.
For me, he's lost the race with his jink when landing at the last. They've both landed level and that little error on landing has cost him. Not sure if he would have won without that but Paul hasn't gone after him after the last.
His jumping was pretty good first time out so I wouldn't have any issues there.
He improved from his first race last year and I would expect some improvement again this year and better ground will see him in better light.
Not had a penny on him and not sure whether the Turners or BAC would be best for him but I'd expect him to be a player in either race.

All his form is over further on better ground
that he was beaten first time up last season by a much worse horse than classic getsway and jumped left going right handed surely means it is far too early to rule him out
