He's either going to be an Un De sceaux type relentless front running galloper
Or he's going to be headbutting half the fences

1. El Fabiolo (should have beat Jonbon, thats better than anything DD achieved over hurdles)
2. Appreciate It (in a different parish to DD IMO but ? on where he is)
3. Saint Roi (even in defeat he was running to a higher level + solid cheltenham form)
4. DD.

Saint roi has never seemed big enough to make much of a chaser to me
And given he's by the same sire as bacardys, asterion forlonge and Franco de port I wouldn't be confident at all He will take to it
Appreciate it is gonna be 9 and I can see him wanting 2m4f at this stage of his career
Dysart Dynamo had some appeal when he was 20/1 but I never pulled the trigger and now that he's 16/1 I'm even less inclined to add him having already covered el fabiolo and jonbon

I'm concerned about Jonbon getting up that hill after a strong pace, yeah its an arkle where his jumper (appears to be very good) will help him keep track and naturally they do a little slower than the madness in a supreme
However... really want to see how he travels up the hill at sandown to mitigate my remaining concerns

The main thing to say is that if Ferny Hollow didn’t get injured in his novice hurdle season he would have gone the Supreme and Appreciate It would have gone the Ballymore. Willie has always seen him as a horse that will stay beyond 2 miles. That’s why he started off in a bumper over 2 1/2m

If JWM wins this in Heavy ground, surely Henry doesn't drop him ever so slightly back in trip for the Turners?

Being firmly in the 'Minella Cocooner will be a star over 3m' camp, I'm more concerned with the manner in how he races than the bare result (barring having a shocker obviously). I'd far rather he wasn't keen and settled and came 2nd or 3rd, than making the running and showing good speed to win from the front.
Love this time of year.
