Im tempted to cash out my BANC bet as it’s with 365, I’ve also the turners backed. Should he win the turners price will cut dramatically as we know. He loses does he then think about stepping him up? It’s a tough call.
I don't have the option to cash out but if I did I definitely wouldn't.

Henry said 'I'm not convinced any more that he is an out-and-out three-mile chaser – he has more pace than maybe we thought he had initially'.

I wouldn't read too much into that. He's almost certainly basing that on work and JWM has done nothing on a racecourse that I've seen that doesn't scream go up in trip, which makes a lot of sense. He's by Mahler who produces loads of stayers and not many speedsters. Chris's Dream was by Mahler in the same ownership and did all his best work over 3m+. JWM won a PTP, after Naas Henry said he definitely needs further and everything so on paper and from what I've seen I'd be confident 3m is where he'll end up.

It was the turners bet with 365 I was thinking about mate. I’ve moved it to PP as if he’s beat he ain’t winning a turners and hopefully won’t lose any cash to get out with pp but 365 will obviously grey out pre and during race. Means BANC more likely if beat too so happy if he drifts with 365.

              • So Kilcruit can jump a fence at a sedate pace. To my eye, his splayed back leg action seems more pronounced than ever.

Yeah his leg action is off-putting.

                    • Minella crooner looked very one paced there

Another for the Irish national/NHC notebook

Pushed out to 20/1 for the NHC, a bit of value there imo

Do you really think the NHC is a possible ?
Looked a handicapper all over to me and got outstayed by an exposed mare.

He looks destined to be like one of those shitty handicapper 's that flatter to deceive and are always running on past beaten horses.
                          Like Buywise.
He will have his day though, I'm sure.

Surely something classier will be too good for him.
                            20-1 looks only fair.
                            Should be higher IMO.

                            • Irish National horse written all over Minella Crooner. For me, that's one less of Gordon's horses to try and decipher the plans for the graded novice chases.

You'd think, but then looking down the betting, what is destined for the race that has better novice hurdle form. I'm sort of struggling to find anything. Jumped well enough without being spectacular, yes winning would have been nice but I'm sure they'll be happy on the whole. Plenty of improvement to come.
