Hate small number races like that. Hope Jonbon just gets on with it like Nube Negra did otherwise it could get really messy. At least his price shouldn't fluctuate too much for those not already on. Might as well watch it first before going in.

He's already horrendously short, so hate to think what he would be if he won well

Thought Unexpected Party ran a nice race today behind McFabulous, with West Cork out on Wednesday back at 2m, I'd say Dan Skelton has an eye on the Grand Annual/Plate with these two!
Anyone think Shantreusse could just improve heaps for fences tomorrow? Had a good novice hurdle campaign and only blew out of sorts in the Albert Bartlett on good ground, seems to need some give, wouldn't write him off.

To me Shantreusse and Bronn need 4m rather than the 2m5 tomorrow.
Freedom to Dream (one of this parish!) looks the interesting one - 4L 4th to Banbridge and Hollow Games in the Martin Pipe - EW shout tomorrow, but Gerri should win.

I'd imagine Freedom to Dream will be a decent TWAR price.
I'm not feeling the love for Gerri. Was the same last season.

GMG was mentioned on here a little while back, I think by Winging The Last so he was on my radar anyway, but I've switched my bet's around as a result of the podcast comments to have GMG and GC (RSA), JWM (Turners). I think JWM could place in a Turners so is worth an EW at 33/1 if you bet that way like me, but agree he's probably not worth a win bet.

I bloody love Gerri Colombe. Just something about him. Don't think he's the easiest to keep sound and they seem to think he needs soft ground, so wouldn't be plunging too much on him for the Festival, but he's a really likeable type.
Thought his jumping improved no end when he was pushed into his fences and attacked them a bit more. He should take high rank amongst the Irish novices this year.
