Racing Post novice chase next at Leopardstown? Could take on some of Mullins horses and see if he is a true 2 miler or not.

Still not 100% sure. Tommys Oscar was too far back to really challenge on a track that suits front running chasers. Beating the English and beating the pick of Mullins 2 milers is also a different level.

not really my point, my point is everyone thinks they've found a festival winner, winning supposed trial races at this meeting. Be it the Arkle, Triumph hurdle, Ballymore.

                      • I thought Tommys Oscar was going to put it up to him, was going the better of the 2 coming round the bend and then was hampered which seemed to lose momentum.

Not saying he would have won but would have been closer imo.

Don't think anyone's gone that far have they ? No one's counting any money yet. Just appreciating good performances and very good rounds of jumping. If people can't get excited about that then they are in the wrong game. The Paddy Power GC was a sensational race. Exactly the reason I go racing.
