I'm adding two for the NHC. The first is Kilkruit @ 20/1. I don't think he'll cut the mustard in top Grade 1 novice chases and he'll have to slot in somewhere. He was beaten on average 13L over hurdles and felt like a perpetual disappointment having lost at 1/14 on debut and not going on to achieve much since. That being said, he's always ran with credit at Cheltenham and has that all important Cheltenham experience on his CV having been to Cheltenham twice. Patrick gets on well with him and if WPM thinks GDM is a Grade 1 animal then maybe Patrick will be in his ear about is Kilkruit. It makes a lot of sense. He's by Stowaway so should love going up in trip. I can see him being mentioned for the race and thats it re his price. I've also added Sam's Profile @ 140's as I've always thought he would be better off over much further.

He was going well enough till then.
Probably be too late when he proves you wrong really.
And then he'll probably fall the next day you back him.
Apart from the pecks on landing he looked a lot less of a baby last weekend.
He was excellent, and beat a good measure in GDM going away.
His engine was clear to see.
Probably the best Drinmore winner we've seen I reckon, in terms of how he did it and the depth of the race.
Some recent drinmores have been dire.

Mighty Potter was playing up infront of the stands before the race, i recall this as my mate and i was chatting about it saying all the Jonbon chat about playing up but MP is doing it.
He is worth another go there obviously to prove it was a one off flop.

Mighty Potter holds Christmas entries in the two-mile-one-furlong Racing Post Novice Chase and the three-mile Neville Hotels Novice Chase at Leopardstown, as well as the Faugheen Novice Chase at Limerick over the intermediate distance of two-and-a-half.
A decision on which race he ultimately contests will not be made until nearer the time, but he appears unlikely to take the shortest option, with fellow Caldwell-owned chaser Fil Dor being lined up for that particular contest after impressing on his fencing bow at Navan.
Logan added: “We’re not sure what the plan is at the moment and we’re not in any rush – we’ll let Gordon decide that. The main thing is we’ve seen what Mighty Potter is capable of in a competitive race.
“Fil Dor was very impressive in Navan – he jumped very well, he beat a good horse (Saint Roi) and Jack was very happy with him, too.
“We’ll be aiming to split the two horses up. I think the two-mile race in Leopardstown could be the race for Fil Dor, but we’ll see.”
Mighty Potter heading to Limerick then 5/1 not such a bad price all things considered

I wonder if Mighty Potter might be aimed at the BANC for the festival, possibly taking in the Neville’s at Xmas? Gordon doesn’t seem to have anything other than Gerri Colombe to aim at it that looks like having a chance and he seems to be very ground dependent and hard to keep right.
Minella Crooner I wouldn’t fancy and Hollow Games seemed to perform well over 2m which surprised us all. The rest are probably handicappers or going for the NHC possibly.
The Turners is looking like having many horses possibly needing/wanting that trip so wonder if 3m would be out of the question for MP. Three Stripe Life could head to the Turners as planned.
Anyone else had any thoughts on this?

He'd be fine at that trip though.
Gold cup next year.

You could be right they might give him Christmas off and probably school him at Navan again between now and Feb to keep his eye in. They did finish pretty tired in behind and although MP looked to do it easy that probably took a fair bit out of him. What with TSL not having much of a run he might be the value at Limerick 6/1.
