I think jonbon was a decent novice hurdler and shown he can jump pretty well. that was his first outing so reasonable to expect him to improve next time out. based on that he's surely a contender for the arkle unless you know there's lesser hurdlers who will improve a lot for jumping.
other than bambridge we are waiting 5o see confirmation the other leading contenders can jump a fence and even if they can who is beating jonbon before the arkle in UK. I think while bambridge looked decent his target is not as nailed on and based on last year has to show he can beat the grade 1 winners from last year.
value at current price is a question but if you're on already surely you think that performance was impressive. if you're not on the 7/4 I'd a tough pill and maybe people looking at reasons not to back so seeing it in a different lightComment

Didn't know Dinoblue was going chasing. Ultimately a bit disappointing last season but did go off 11/8f at the festival on just her second start, so must be well regarded. It’s a tricky one, I still think journey with me wants a step up in trip but if he is a brilliant jumper then he might be okay over the shorter trip tomorrow, but the Mullins camp seem to think kilcruit wasn’t right last year and if that is the case and he puts in a better showing tomorrow then I think he’d probably be better suited to the trip than jwm.Originally posted by Sprinter Sacre View PostComment

No, I don't think so. For a 10/11 shot I want to be confident they are fit and are facing inferior rivals. Kilcruit ran to a higher level over hurdles and being by Stowaway you'd expect him to make a better chaser. It's a watching brief for me.Originally posted by Sprinter Sacre View Post

Im tempted to cash out my BANC bet as it’s with 365, I’ve also the turners backed. Should he win the turners price will cut dramatically as we know. He loses does he then think about stepping him up? It’s a tough call.Comment
